Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SomSaaS SMS platform ("Service"), operated by SomSaaS SMS Technology ("we", "us", "our"), located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. By registering a school or otherwise using the Service, you ("you", "the School") agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SomSaaS SMS is a multi-tenant, cloud-based school management platform that provides tools for managing students, staff, academics, examinations, attendance, finance, library, e-learning, and communication. Each registered school operates within its own isolated workspace.

2. Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate, current registration information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for all activity under your school's accounts and for safeguarding login credentials.
• The person registering on behalf of a school confirms they are authorized to bind that school to these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and fees

Access is provided on the plan you select (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime) at the prices shown at registration. Fees are billed in advance for the chosen period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access another school's data, disrupting the platform, uploading unlawful or harmful content, or reverse-engineering the Service.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the data your school enters. You grant us a limited license to host and process that data solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. You may stop using the Service at any time; on termination, we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deletion.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Disputes will be subject to the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
